For a while now I've wanted to offer the ability to install language files as plugins.

To that end we've added a change to the jomres_languages class that can be found here : jomres.trac.cvsdude.com/Jomres_core_v4/changeset/2022

Current testing seems to work, however we'd appreciate it if you guys/girls could edit the attached plugin to suit your own particular set of requirements and confirm that the changes work for you.



Just remember that in J1.7 you'll need the appropriate language installed, otherwise Joomla will just fallback to the default language.

v6.1 has been released, and it includes the above core changes so if you're running 6.1 there's no need to apply the svn changes now.
