Installation issues on live server

Hello,

I’m trying to use Jomres on a live server.
Unfortunately after the installation, I’ve a lot of issues.

First of all I’m getting the following error:
“DataTables warning: table id=admin_listproperties - Ajax error. For more information about this error, please see datatables.net/tn/7
Secondly, the menu items on the frontend don’t work.
When I use a diagnostic tool in the browser, the following error appears “QuotaExceededError”

Doing the same installation on a WAMP test environment works without any issue.
I believe that there’s something wrong with the settings of the hosting but the hosting company calls it a url rewrite issue.
Perhaps it’s interesting to say that the hosting is windows based but the hosting company claims that it’s perfectly compatible with joomla and other open source platforms.

So please can anyone help me around this issue?

Best regards,

Hi Lieven, if your hosting support have mentioned urls, have you checked your htaccess file in the root of the installation?

Does the cms work ok without the plugin?

Where are you actually getting the error you quote? Which screen?

Have you rebuilt the micro component cache ?

Good luck

Dear,

Thank you for your response.

Joomla 3.8.x works fine, it’s only the Jomres component that’s having issues.
Other components are working without any problem.
I believe that the URL is to long for the rewrite method. Is this possible?

Attached you can find a few print screens.

I haven’t changed anything that something have to do with the micro component cache.
For the moment it’s just a basic Joomla with Jomres and a few other components like Akeeba Backup.

In case you have more questions, please let me know.

Hi

Have you actually been able to see your license detail in the settings page?

By installing the plugin manager, does it change the situation?

If it were my installation I would reinstall Jomres through the Joomla Install from web tab after obviously ensuring akeeba would backup during that process.

Indeed, I saw the license details.

When I click on the ‘Start your free trial now!’-button, I’m getting the following error:
‘Class 'HTMLPurifier_IDAccumulator' not found’

When clicking on the ‘Get the plugin manager now!’, I’m getting the same error.

Strangely enough these errors do not appear on an offline WAMP installation even when the same components are installed.

Hi, it sounds like a corrupt Jomres installation, please reinstall Jomres.

After several attempts and struggling with some errors during the installation, I was able to successfully install Jomres.
So clicking on the ‘Start your free trial now!’ and ‘Get the plugin manager now!’ –button seems to be working. All back-end pages seems to be accessible.

Weirdly enough from time to time the following message appears:
DataTables warning: table id= admin_listproperties – Ajax error. For more information about this error, please see datatables.net/tn/7

Unfortunately I can’t find what source this issue, so I can’t reproduce it.
Does anyone knows what can cause this?

This message can appear

1 - If the core files have been updated and the templates have not.
2 - A custom_code file has not been brought up to the current core version.

But maybe that might not apply in your case.

Dear,

I still have some issues to add a property to Jomres but I thing that has something to do with the property types.

On the back-end the list with property types is empty while data is stored in the #__jomres_ptypes table.
Adding a property type isn’t possible, it results in an error.

Error log:
www.vijverland.be:443/administrator/index.php?option=com_jomres

File: E:\HostingSpaces\Borms3\vijverland.be\wwwroot\jomres\libraries\jomres\classes\jomres_property_types.class.php

Creating a new property is also causing issues. It has also something to do with the property type I guess.

Dear,

Thank you for your message.

I know, that’s just the issue I’ve described in previous post.
I can’t see or add a property type.

The property types are listed in the database but I can’t use them in website.
Attached you can find a few print screens.

Best regards.

ABOUT US

Vince portrait smallaladar

Developed and maintained by Vince Wooll and Aladar Barthi, Jomres was initially conceived in early 2005 as a Mambo based solution to a client’s hotel management needs. While it wasn't originally expected to be an online booking system it quickly morphed into one as users requested more and more features.

As the number of feature requests grew Vince knew that he would need to dedicate more time to the project and in July 2005 Jomres was formally released as a commercial project. Since then, Jomres has become one of Mambo’s, and now Joomla’s, longest running projects. It has survived various versions of Mambo, then Joomla 1.0, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 2.5 and 3.

Aladar joined the project in 2010 after using Jomres for his own projects. He was active on the forum, helping other members of the community and eventually Vince invited him to join the team. He has since become an integral part of the project and has contributed significantly to it's development over the years.

Whilst not formally part of the Jomres project, Rodrigo Rocco and the team have become firm friends. Rod is a freelancer who specialises in doing custom work for Jomres users and developing custom plugins for the system that take advantage of it's modular design. He has built many useful extensions including his fabulous new Valentina Template Package.
