Reservation confirmation problems

I encountered two problems with reservation confirmation.
1- If booking needs approval :
After property manager approves the reservation the guest gets an email with a link to the payment page. This is OK, only the link is not a clickable link, the user should copy and paste it into the browser which is not the best intuitive way.

2- If the booking doesn't need approval.
I assume that after successful payment in this way the booking should be automatically registered on property manager's page and he gets a notification about that by email. But none of these happens on my site.

I'm not sure that I don't do something correctly or this is a flaw in the system.

I have 2 installations, the first of your items does not replicate for me. The link is clickable.

The second problem you raise is also not replicated on my 2 installations.

I would suggest you have something going wrong with your 'system'.

Regarding item 2, perhaps you could check your payment gateway setup, is it global or property based, are the contacts of that set appropriately. And are the property emails set appropriately. If you have set the email tab in backend setting, try leaving it blank to therefore not override the property email.

Does your server actually dispatch mail ? Do you get any system emails sent to you, eg new user, new property etc.

Hope you sort it out soon.

I solved the second problem. It was because I used a copy of Paypal plugin for another gateway and made changes inside it. I should set the "Client ID" and the "Secret" field empty, otherwise system uses a routine specific to Paypal authorization.

But the first problem remains. When hovering over the link it changes its color but not the shape of the cursor and is not clickable.
I tried to edit
but the result doesn't change, So the original
<p>To secure the booking, please use the following link to make the payment: [PAYMENT_LINK]</p>
and my changed
<p>To secure the booking, please use the following link to make the payment: <a href="[PAYMENT_LINK]"> click here</a></p>
both output the same
<p>To secure the booking, please use the following link to make the payment: <a rel="nofollow"> www.mysite/index.php?option=com_jomres&I...lowtmpl=nofollowtmpl </a></p>

pay attention: No "href" attribute inside the anchor.

So my question is the following
How can I edit [PAYMENT_LINK] content?

Vince portrait smallaladar

Developed and maintained by Vince Wooll and Aladar Barthi, Jomres was initially conceived in early 2005 as a Mambo based solution to a client’s hotel management needs. While it wasn't originally expected to be an online booking system it quickly morphed into one as users requested more and more features.

As the number of feature requests grew Vince knew that he would need to dedicate more time to the project and in July 2005 Jomres was formally released as a commercial project. Since then, Jomres has become one of Mambo’s, and now Joomla’s, longest running projects. It has survived various versions of Mambo, then Joomla 1.0, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 2.5 and 3.

Aladar joined the project in 2010 after using Jomres for his own projects. He was active on the forum, helping other members of the community and eventually Vince invited him to join the team. He has since become an integral part of the project and has contributed significantly to it's development over the years.

Whilst not formally part of the Jomres project, Rodrigo Rocco and the team have become firm friends. Rod is a freelancer who specialises in doing custom work for Jomres users and developing custom plugins for the system that take advantage of it's modular design. He has built many useful extensions including his fabulous new Valentina Template Package.
