Select Multiple rooms

Good Day

I am having a difficult time trying to find out how to select 2 or 3 rooms during the booking process.

I have a property with 3 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms can sleep 2 people, and 1 bedroom can sleep 1 person, so the property can sleep in total 5 people, I have set guest types to 5 adults.

If a person makes a booking and select 3 adults how do can they select the 1 bedroom that sleeps 1 and the second bedroom that sleep 2 people?

How do I set it up in the settings.

thank you

I am afraid that Jomres hasn't got rooms manually asignation feature.

That's a real bummer, because on all other booking sites I can select how many rooms I want to book in a property, ie, a couple wants to book a room just for them and the children stays in a separate room.

Room allocation is done automatically, so long as you have X number of rooms able to accommodate Y number of people, and Z tariff allows that number of guests, the room(s) will show.

cant get it to work

I have the following rooms and tariffs:

2 x Double rooms: R680.00 per couple per night
R520.00 per single person per night

1 x Twin room: R 680.00 per couple per night
R520.00 per single person per night

2 x Single rooms: R390.00 per single person per night

So the property can take in total 8 persons

but when I select 3 persons on more the rooms are not available anymore.

If I select 3 persons it should still show all rooms

If the rooms aren't available, please check that the tariffs for that property support up to 8 people, Corne.

Good Day

Just to be clear, you say that I must put in each tariff 8 people even if the 1x single room only sleeps 1 person? I would have thought that it would take it from the number of guest types?

ABOUT US

Vince portrait smallaladar

Developed and maintained by Vince Wooll and Aladar Barthi, Jomres was initially conceived in early 2005 as a Mambo based solution to a client’s hotel management needs. While it wasn't originally expected to be an online booking system it quickly morphed into one as users requested more and more features.

As the number of feature requests grew Vince knew that he would need to dedicate more time to the project and in July 2005 Jomres was formally released as a commercial project. Since then, Jomres has become one of Mambo’s, and now Joomla’s, longest running projects. It has survived various versions of Mambo, then Joomla 1.0, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 2.5 and 3.

Aladar joined the project in 2010 after using Jomres for his own projects. He was active on the forum, helping other members of the community and eventually Vince invited him to join the team. He has since become an integral part of the project and has contributed significantly to it's development over the years.

Whilst not formally part of the Jomres project, Rodrigo Rocco and the team have become firm friends. Rod is a freelancer who specialises in doing custom work for Jomres users and developing custom plugins for the system that take advantage of it's modular design. He has built many useful extensions including his fabulous new Valentina Template Package.
