JR_Leohtian_WP Theme problems

Hi,

I used the quickstart installation to get JR_Leohtian_WP and Jomres up and running. All has been fine until recently (I didn't notice when the change happened).

The widgets on the homepage are not behaving in the way they used to. For example, the Je_Top_Destinations widget will only display in columns of two, and the image sizes are not correct. Sometimes there are even gaps in the columns. Screenshot attached - ignore the empty image holders, I just haven't uploaded images for those areas yet!

Other widgets are also behaving oddly, overlapping each other, or displaying completely different to when I installed the theme.

I have tried deactivating all plugins and starting again - no success
I have tried downloading and reinstalling the theme - no success.

Any help/pointers gratefully received!

Thanks
Martin

Have you tried uploading different sizes of those images for those cities, Martin?

Hi Vince,
Yes, I've just been through them all and changed all images to be 400px wide. still the same.

Until recently, it was all working fine, and the image size did not matter, but now, it won't do anything other than 2 columns

I wonder if it's caused by the length of the name of the town.

Try unpublishing the property(s) for that Canules...etc town. Does that help?

I had wondered about that myself, as it's quite long. I'll let you know!

No difference. I remember that they were the first two properties I put on the site, and had been working fine.

ABOUT US

vince picDeveloped and maintained by Vince Wooll, Jomres was initially conceived in early 2005 as a Mambo based solution to a client’s hotel management needs. While it wasn't originally expected to be an online booking system it quickly morphed into one as users requested more and more features.

As the number of feature requests grew Vince knew that he would need to dedicate more time to the project and in July 2005 Jomres was formally released as a commercial project. Since then, Jomres has become one of Mambo’s, and now Joomla’s, longest running projects. It has survived various versions of Mambo, then Joomla 1.0, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 2.5 and 3.

Aladar joined the project in 2010 after using Jomres for his own projects. He was active on the forum, helping other members of the community and eventually Vince invited him to join the team. Between 2010 and 2018 he was an integral part of the project and made many significant contributions.

Whilst not formally part of the Jomres project, Rodrigo Rocco and Vince have become firm friends. Rod is a freelancer who specialises in doing custom work for Jomres users and developing custom plugins for the system that take advantage of it's modular design. He has built many useful extensions including his fabulous Valentina Template Override Package.
