Jomres Platform

Get your online booking website up and running without paying a penny

How it works

  1. Have a Stripe Account
  2. Install a Quickstart
  3. Get a license key
  4. Save your license key
  5. Add your properties

Simple pricing without any catches

Jomres Platform is the new way to realise the full power of Jomres without any upfront costs.

Join the Jomres Platform, get all plugins and support, and only pay 2% per booking when you take booking deposit payments.

No lock-in, no hidden fees, no credit card needed.

When your guests pay their deposit an application fee (calculated as a percentage of the whole booking value) is taken from the deposit payment and shared with the Jomres platform. That's it! Nothing else happens. If you don't make any bookings then Jomres doesn't cost you a thing.

Connect with Jomres Platform

Download and install Jomres into Wordpress or Joomla.

Click the Get Connected menu in the help section of Jomres admin area, and connect your Stripe account with ours.

Your license is installed automatically, and you're ready to install all of the plugins listed in the Jomres Plugin Manager. You don't need to setup any payment gateways as it is already done for you.

Just setup your properties and go.

It couldn't be simpler.

Zero risk strategy

There's absolutely no up-front fee to pay.

The only thing that this will cost you is the time it takes for you to setup your site and install Jomres, and of course your own hosting costs.

As soon as you start making money from your business, we will automatically be credited a small percentage of the value of the bookings. We're not greedy, there are no investors to pay so we're able to keep the rate very low indeed.

Compare our fee to the big OTAs, who typically charge 15% for taking bookings. We believe that you'll agree that considering what you get, Jomres is excellent value for money.

Thank you!

We appreciate you taking the time to consider using Jomres for your project.

If you've been furloughed, or worse, laid off because of Covid-19 the last thing you will want is to find the money to pay for software as we rebuild the travel industry, post-Coronavirus.

Our plan is to help you to get back on your feet as soon as possible, and we believe that our approach is the fairest way of doing that.

Both Joomla and WordPress are free Content Management Systems, tried and tested by millions of users over many years. There are thousands of free plugins available for them that allow you to build unique and beautifully styled websites.

Jomres is a plugin for these CMSs becase we believe that being a part of this ecosystem gives you the best tools to create a business that reflects your values, and gives you the freedom every entrepreneur needs to thrive and grow.

Good luck with your project!

vince picDeveloped and maintained by Vince Wooll, Jomres was initially conceived in early 2005 as a Mambo based solution to a client’s hotel management needs. While it wasn't originally expected to be an online booking system it quickly morphed into one as users requested more and more features.

As the number of feature requests grew Vince knew that he would need to dedicate more time to the project and in July 2005 Jomres was formally released as a commercial project. Since then, Jomres has become one of Mambo’s, and now Joomla’s, longest running projects. It has survived various versions of Mambo, then Joomla 1.0, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 2.5 and 3.

Aladar joined the project in 2010 after using Jomres for his own projects. He was active on the forum, helping other members of the community and eventually Vince invited him to join the team. Between 2010 and 2018 he was an integral part of the project and made many significant contributions.

Whilst not formally part of the Jomres project, Rodrigo Rocco and Vince have become firm friends. Rod is a freelancer who specialises in doing custom work for Jomres users and developing custom plugins for the system that take advantage of it's modular design. He has built many useful extensions including his fabulous Valentina Template Override Package.
