Jomres natively offers functionality that allows guests to select specific rooms during the booking process. This can be especially useful for boutique or niche business that want to give their guests a more personalized experience.

How it works

Unlike most OTAs that keep an inventory of a number of rooms of a given type available or otherwise, Jomres get much more involved. When you create a property in Jomres that rents out rooms, you create actual rooms in the system that mirror your real-life property. You can add images, features and text that's unique to that room, note it's floor number and the room number on the door.

In Property Management > Settings > Property Configuration click on the Booking Form tab. Make sure that the Rooms List style is set to Classic, and click Save.

Next, go to Settings > Room Features and create any features that you think that guests will be interested in, such as it's view of the pool or that it's on the ground floor. Whatever you think makes the room special for your guests.

When you've created room features, go to Settings > Media Centre and upload images for those features, and the rooms you have created.

Once you've done that, you can visit the booking form and see that, not only can guests choose specific rooms but they can also filter rooms based on room features.

Wait, there's more!

You can create Extras to be sold during the booking process, such as flowers on arrival. Just like the room features, create the Extras then upload some images in the Media Centre. These extras can be available to all rooms, or just rooms of a specific type and they can be configured to be available at any time, or only during specific dates. Different Extras can be charged according to a number of different charging models such as Per booking, or per person per day.
