Wiseprice and Lastminute are the two different features we use to help property managers offer discounts to potential guests.
Wiseprice
The Wiseprice feature is offered to MRP (guest houses, hotels, bed and breakfast) managers. It allows the system to automatically offer discounts depending on how many rooms are booked of a given room type. This allows us to possibly capture business that might have otherwise gone elsewhere. Let's use the default settings in the image as an example.
If this feature is activated, and if the guest's speculative arrival date is within 60 days, then when a guest chooses a room the system will look at the number of rooms which are already booked for that room type. If you have, for example, 100 rooms of that room type, and only 15 of those rooms are booked for that date then 85 rooms (20% of the rooms of that type) have not been booked, in which case the system will automatically offer a 20% discount for bookings for that room type.
Lastminute
The lastminute feature is what SRP managers will see and be able to offer to guests. You can offer a discount if the current date is less than a specified number of days till the arrival date.
