As mentioned on Twitter the property details page has been reworked and renamed for Bootstrap 5.

Back in the deep dark mists of time, when I first started using jQuery UI I was utterly besotted by it's easy to use Tabs functionality (Jomres 5.5.3 13/09/2011)

I used them with great gusto in the property details template file. Over time, however, I had people asking me how to take stuff out of tabs, which wasn't all that simple so I then added another property details template file called composite_property_details_notabs.html to make it easier for them.

It all started getting a bit complicated and confusing so for Bootstrap 5 I've chucked out those two files and we now have just the one called /frontend/property_details.html

This template has seen quite a bit of reworking for BS5 (which hasn't finished yet, it's a work in progress). It still has most of the data in tabs, but they're on the left hand side under the slideshow however they're not dynamically generated so it's a lot easier for you the user to move stuff around if you want to change the layout. It also uses quite a bit of the "Including script content in another template" feature because it's a massive time saver and it's nice to give you guys & girls a practical example of the feature in action.

This change comes in Jomres 10.2.

ABOUT US

vince picDeveloped and maintained by Vince Wooll, Jomres was initially conceived in early 2005 as a Mambo based solution to a client’s hotel management needs. While it wasn't originally expected to be an online booking system it quickly morphed into one as users requested more and more features.

As the number of feature requests grew Vince knew that he would need to dedicate more time to the project and in July 2005 Jomres was released as a commercial project. Since then Jomres has become the world's oldest online booking plugin for any PHP CMS. It has been used in Joomla 1.0, 1.5, 2.5, 3 & 4 and WordPress 4, 5 & 6.

Aladar joined the project in 2010 after using Jomres for his own projects. He was active on the forum, helping other members of the community and eventually Vince invited him to join the team. Between 2010 and 2018 he was an integral part of the project and made many significant contributions.

Whilst not formally part of the Jomres project, Rodrigo Rocco and Vince have become firm friends. Rod is a freelancer who specialises in doing custom work for Jomres users and developing custom plugins for the system that take advantage of it's modular design. He has built many useful extensions including his fabulous Valentina Template Override Package.
