You're not charged by the number of properties or rooms, it's just a one-off fee that varies based only on the amount of time you'll want support for, nothing more. You'll still need to pay a developer to build your site, but that actual software cost is less than the cost of one night's booking at your favourite hotel.

Online Booking Engine

Do you want to offer bookings through your website on a tried and tested platform? Sell them, 24/7/365 at no extra cost to yourself. Alternatively, you can allow just your staff to make bookings, effectively making the system a centralised PMS for your business. Because the system is designed to be responsive, they can access it from anywhere they've got an internet connection on their smartphone, tablet or laptop.

Instant Bookings

We've structured our software to maximise the choices available to you. You can allow customers to view real-time availability, book and pay instantly without the need of preliminary emails or phone calls to check availability. This frees your staff up to do the important things, like visiting contacts, checking on clients etc.

On-Request Bookings

Alternatively, if you're not ready to confirm the booking yet you can let the guest send an enquiry, receive a full quote and once you've approved it they'll be sent a link to make the payment. This gives you time to check with the client that there's sufficient availability, if need be.

Both Instant Bookings and On-Request bookings are configured on a per-property basis, meaning that if you've got some properties where you know that you don't need to check if there are sufficient rooms, you can let guests make instant bookings, and for those that require you to touch base with them first, you can do that too.

Fully Automated

Automatically generate and send booking invoices, confirmation emails, SMSs and receive deposit or balance payments. There's no need to trigger specific emails or messages. Insofar as is possible, we automate as much as we can.

Highly Flexible Pricing Schemes

Manage complex rules like weekday or weekend tariffs, supplements, discounts, minimum night stay restrictions, black-out dates and more. 

Hotels, B&Bs, villas and apartments all use different ways to calculated prices. After 11 years in the business we think we've broken them down to the point where our pricing configuration allows most users to setup their prices to match their re-world policies.

Each property's deposit amount can be different, and deposits can be configured to be a percentage of the booking if the arrival date is more than N days from the booking date, or if less then the full amount can be charged. Want one property to only offer fixed period bookings ( typically villas ), and another more flexible dates? You can do that. Do you want different properties to charge per-person per night, or just per night? No problem. Flat rate or variable prices depending on the period spanned? Yep, we've got that covered too.

No Commission Fees

Never pay commission again for received bookings and never hand over the intimate details of your business to anonymous people in "the cloud".

In our opinion, the biggest benefit of Jomres over virtually all of our competitors is that it's self hosted, so you don't need to pay commission for each booking or property. This also means that your business data is stored on your own server. This gives you total control over who can see that data. It also means that if you want to get your ( or your developer's hands ) dirty and dive into the code to change how it works, you can*. We've seen too many times cloud services simply dropping off the internet, taking your precious customer data with them. With a self hosted application, you set the backup mechanisms, schedules and locations yourself.

Languages & Currencies

We make it easy to market in the currencies and languages of your choosing, or depending on your guest`s automatically detected location (API key for free service required). The system is completely language agnostic, so you can customise everything to suit your own requirements, even down to letting different properties having different names for labels ( for example "rates" v "tariffs" ). If you need to, the system also offers the ability to have different templates ( layouts ) for different property types, so hotels can have one layout, B&Bs another, and villas a third.

Reports & Statistics

View income, customer locations and more as comprehensive charts. Print or export bookings, invoices, guest details and more as Excel, PDF, XML, or CSV files.

Secure Access Levels

Only provide access to back-office areas of the system that your staff requires. Because Jomres is a plugin for Joomla you can have one user acting as an editor of your site's content, another an administrator for Jomres itself and a third just managing their own allocation of properties.

You can even give your porfolio's property managers access to their own properties, if you want. Allow them to adjust prices, create black bookings, import or export availability if tha suits you.

Mobile Friendly

We've mentioned it before, but it bears repeating because it's so important in today's connected world. Manage everything on the go by having your site accessible from all devices, including mobiles, tablets, laptops and desktops.

This is a conscious decision we've made because it allows you to build unique websites, rather than forcing you to fit into a certain mould. You can take advantage of the 8,000 plugins available to Joomla and 20,000 plugins for Wordpress. So, if you want to customise the system to take advantage of any flavour of mailing list plugins, you can. If you'd prefer a different type of slideshow, you can.
